My latest pattern Bright Ornaments Quilt is here! This quilt comes in baby size, small throw and large throw. and it is Fat Quarter and Layer Cake/ Pre-cut 10″ square friendly! This quilt is fast and fun and its CHRISTMAS! You know how much I absolutely LOVE Christmas fabrics and Christmas quilts.

This beautiful fabric is Christmas in the City by Art Gallery Fabrics. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it! In fact, it is one of fabrics I showed in my stash building post. This fabric is full of whimsy, charm and bright colors. If you have followed for me sometime, you know I tend to go muted color-wise. But when done right modern bright colors especially in a Christmas fabric can be AMAZING!

I especially loved the variety of prints in this collection from electric Christmas trees to fun background fabrics and even some script fabrics.

The quilting was done by Ruthie’s Quilting . I was fortunate enough to connect with her through a neighbor and her shop wasn’t too far! We scrolled through some pantos and when I saw this whimsical Christmas-I knew it was the one.

This pattern is absolutely perfect for those collections where you love so many of the prints cant just pick a few! The possibilities of customizing these ornaments really is endless. I had testers use low volume prints for the ornaments tops and golds as well. It all looked good!

I love this fabric so much that I could not use it enough! I used the entire line in this quilt from a background, ornaments, backing and a scrappy binding. It has turned out to be one of my favorite quilts.

I love this fiery orange print! It has a traditional pattern but that bright burning orange makes it updated and modern.

I also made an ombre solids version of this quilt using Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids fat quarter bundle collection in summer blues.

If there was ever a quilt MADE for custom quilting, it is this one. I had Lin from Lin Sews and Quilts do some amazing custom quilting. I had this hand quilting template that I simply loved. I sent the picture to her and she was able to replicate it! The stars look simply wonderful. I was blown away. I also wanted something different on the background and Lin yet again quilted some beautifully connected designs through the rest of the quilt. I absolutely loved it!

Congratulations. What a wonderful addition to Christmas decor.
I love every single fabric line with this pattern. I think this pattern would be gorgeous in any fabric line. Sew cute Andrea!
