I was over the moon when they said The Sweater Quilt would be part of their fall line up. I was even more excited when they showed me this Wintry blue version. I have SO many Christmas quilt and not a lot of post Christmas quilts. Yet the winter is just starting in the mid-west so we still use LOTS of quilts. This color scheme spoke to me to fill that hole.
Don’t these blues just play together so well. They make me want to watch a gentle snowfall all snuggled up!
The fun geometric quilting enhanced the whimsical backing they chose. The quilt just has movement with the backing choice and the quilting.
This is a kit to make the exact version they made and it comes with a paper pattern. (Note paper patterns are only available to shops at this time).
How great a job did they do with photos and natural light? I love that they used a range of blues in one color. There really is a lot of variety possible with this pattern!
You can see the quilty texture in these close ups. Doing an all over quilting design really helps the quilt pattern to stand out.
One of the best parts about this pattern is that there are no points between the rows to match up! I wanted this to be a stress free assembly. I also really thought the stripes hit the sweater theme home.

I purchased 2 of the sweater quilt kits and need to purchase a bit more fabric can you please share the fabric name of the medium blue and cream colors?
